Department of Revenue streamlining operations at regional offices

Business assistance by appointment only

BATON ROUGE – Effective Monday, May 18, 2009, statewide regional offices of the Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR) will offer taxpayer assistance to businesses by appointment only.

Appointments will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 AM to Noon and from 1 PM to 4 PM. Appointments can be scheduled by phone.

Individual taxpayers seeking assistance are encouraged to call the LDR Customer Service line at 225-219-0102; or visit www.revenue.louisiana.gov.

Walk-in customer service for businesses and individual taxpayers will remain available five days a week at LDR headquarters in Baton Rouge.
