BATON ROUGE, La. (October 1, 2008) – On Wednesday, October 1, the Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR) introduces an innovative new tool that streamlines the filing and payment of sales taxes to the state and to local authorities from one centralized online location.
Parish E‐File – parishe‐file.com – is secure, easy to use, and absolutely free. It is a public service provided by the Department of Revenue to businesses in Louisiana and those headquartered out of state, and there are no fees associated with its use.
One great benefit of Parish E‐File is the ability to file and remit Sales & Use taxes in multiple parishes at once. In addition to state Sales & Use tax forms, business owners and tax practitioners can access Sales & Use tax returns online for all 64 Louisiana parishes.
