How do I register to use LaTAP?

From the LDR home page click on the E-File & E-Pay link located on the bottom right-hand side of this homepage. Click the "Continue" button and on the next page click "Taxpayer Access Point" button located under the Business Tax Options. Or, follow this quick link to go directly to LaTAP: https://ldrtap.rev.louisiana.gov/. You will be asked to fill out some required information to register.

What information is required to use LaTAP?

For immediate access you must provide the following information:

  1. account number
  2. tax type
  3. zip code
  4. last payment amount
  5. email address

Once you provide all of this information you will receive an email with an authorization code that will be required to access LaTAP the first time. If you do not know your last payment amount and/or you do not provide an email address you will have to wait for the authorization code to arrive in the mail. I don't remember my last payment amount. Can I still use LaTAP?

Yes. You can complete all other required registration information and wait for an authorization code to be mailed. If you do not want to wait to recieve the authorization code in the mail you can call (225) 219-2203 to assist you with registration. Taxpayers that have never made a payment should call the same number for registration assistance.

I have multiple tax accounts. Can I access all of my tax accounts in LaTAP?

Once you have established a login id you can add access to all of the accounts associated with the same taxpayer to your LaTAP profile. (ex: other locations for the same taxpayer, or other tax types for the same taxpayer) After logging in select the “Add access to another account” link from the LaTAP home page. You will be required to verify the following information each time you add another account to your LaTAP profile:

  1. account number
  2. tax type
  3. zip code
  4. last payment amount
I followed the steps to register but have not received an authorization code yet. Where is it?

If you have a valid email address associated with your LaTAP profile, the code will be sent to your email. If you do not have an email listed, the code will be mailed to the address of the taxpayer associated with your profile. Some ISP's and spam filters have stopped LaTAP email from being delivered to the intended recipient. We are working on minimizing this.
